Recovering addict Jeremy London was held at gunpoint and forced to use drugs last week by alleged kidnappers in Palm Springs, Calif., police say. A suspect, Brandon Adams, 26, has already been arrested in the case.
London, 37, was attempting to change a flat tire on his car on June 10 at 2 p.m., when a group of men approached to assist him.
"After the tire was changed, [London] offered the men a ride home," a police statement reads. "A short time later, he was held at gunpoint in the vehicle by one of the occupants. The gunman forced London to drive to various locations throughout the city, purchase alcohol and use illicit drugs." After approximately 12 hours in captivity, London was able to escape on June 11 around 2 a.m. and notify police.
